Description: Full fat hard cheese made with pasteurised cows' milk and natural rennet. Encrusted with toasted hops which give a pleasing edge to the flavour. The cheeses are vacuum-packed.

History: Invented in 1990 on this farm which is a cheese throw from the Herefordshire border. We are flattered that this cheese is extensively copied elsewhere now. However, all examples we've seen are made of minced and then re-formed cheddar cheese. It's then rolled in hop dust! Buyer beware!
Sorry, Hereford Hop is not available from our on-line store. However, it can be purchased from all good independent cheese shops.
